Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – Another Great Adventure

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy continues the tradition of the treasure hunting series with new heroes.  Nathan Drake is no where to found in this mission.  Instead, Chloe Frazer leads a mission to retrieve and ancient Indian artifact accompanied by Nadine Ross.  Chloe and Nadine must traverse the Indian landscape while evading Asav and his henchman while they try to reach the artifact first.  While Uncharted is just not the same without Nathan Drake, Chloe and Nadine are rich enough characters to make this a worthy entry in the franchise.

After their initial escape, they head deep into the Indian countryside where they search for clues to the Tusk’s location.  Chloe takes the helm of a Jeep to traverse the terrain where she encounters ancient puzzles that she must solve to bring her closer to the final location.  She eventually makes it to the final puzzle, but is captured just before reaching it.  Chloe and Nadine are brought in from Asav where we find that he has also captured Chloe’s other partner, Samuel Drake.

Chloe is forced to help Asav solve the puzzle, and then he leaves to chained to a fence to drown.  After a narrow escape, they must chase down Asav to prevent him from detonating a bomb to the city.  The bomb is strapped to the train that they must chase down as they are attacked on all sides by Asav’s forces.  The story is full of signature Uncharted moments with intense cinematic and plenty of awesome action sequences.

The gameplay mechanics are as smooth as ever as you effortlessly traverse the Indian landscape.  Chloe and Nadine both carry grappling hooks with them to aid accessing out of reach areas.  You can even use them to swing into an attack on any enemy.  The train sequence is one of the best sequences in the game.  You hop from car to car as you progress forward, and sometimes have to leap to vehicle traveling alongside the train to speed up past an obstacle on the train.

Of course, like any Uncharted installment, the game is filled with gorgeous visuals and unforgettable characters.  Photo mode is back in the installment to let you take advantage of the gorgeous landscapes.  The amount of detail in your surroundings makes it easy to get distracted from playing the actual game.  Check out the gallery below for a few more screenshots from the game:
