The technology theme associated with Find the Force also spills over into the product line according to Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media.  “Force Friday II puts fans right at the center of the action using augmented reality to bring our characters to life like never before. The technology theme continues in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi product line, which is our most innovative yet – we can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store.”

If you are lucky enough to be near one of 20 major landmarks throughout the world today, you can view a Star Destroyer flying overhead with Tie Fighters shooting around it.  There are four locations in the US, including the Hollywood Sign, the Grand Canyon, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Central Park.  James Burns of Jedi News was given a sneak peak at the Star Destroyer and here is what he had to say, “What better way to start Force Friday II than to see a Star Destroyer over your favorite city landmark – it’s stunning! Star Wars is so special to so many, and bringing this kind of augmented reality to the Star Wars App is a great way to get you in the mood for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and all that awaits from now to December!”
